레나드 코헨 (Leonard Cohen)

레너드 코헨과 그 음악의 매력은 무엇이길래

이끌리듯 자꾸 듣고 싶어지는 것일까..

단지 노래를 업으로 삼은 사람이라기보다

시인이자 소설가이며 싱어송라이터였고,  

그가 겪어온 일생이 만들어낸 문학적이고 서정적인 가사와

묵직하게 가슴을 울리는 목소리는 아직도 많은 사람들이

깊은 감정에 취하고 싶은날 그의 곡을 듣게 하는 힘이 있다.

지난 9월 뉴요커지와 마지막 인터뷰에서 “아직 할 일이 많지만 연연하지 않는다.

죽음이 두렵지 않다.” 고 말한 레너드 코헨, 2016년11월11일(향년 82세)

캐나다의 음유시인 레너드 코헨은 그렇게 우리곁을 떠났다.
